As long as you are a group that involves Brown Edge people you can have your own section here. This can be managed and administered by yourselves if you wish.
You can use it for attracting new members, giving updates to visitors or even if used in conjunction with the events calendar, you can invite people to your meeting/event.

Brown Edge Action Group was formed in 2006 to compile a village plan from collected data obtained by means of a village survey. This plan gave a way forward for community groups to follow to improve the environment we live in and to enhance our social scope.
A further survey has now been held oand the village plan is being updated. This has mostly been completed and is just waiting articles to encompass the change in the Planning Laws and the Corte Strategy document.
Most of the work of the action group to date has been taken up with creating gardens and planting trees around the village. Updating the |Playing Field equipment and creating a safer pathway across the site. Applying for funding for various groups which have been set up and assisting with their necessary official registration i.e. the Luncheon Club, Allotment Group and Sandy Lane Centre.
Due to ill health and family commintments some of our members have had to resign so we are looking for new members to come along and help. If you have any spare time or any skills that you feel you would like to offer to assist us from gardening, painting or secretarial to production of leaflets and posters we would love to hear from you.
